Description Alive & Amplified is a multi-genre, live music, event hosted to raising funds for Survivors in Transition a charity local to Ipswich, doing tremendous work, helping those recover and deal with past traumatic experiences.
Ewan Martin:
Ewan Martin, a singer-songwriter from Norwich UK who describes his music as "Dark Pop" is currently building up to his trilogy of single releases. Born and bred in Norwich, Ewan has been incredibly active in the local open mic and gig scene in the last couple years. Building confidence and sharing his deeply personal and vulnerable material with a wide range of audiences, he's always thinking of what's coming next.
Sophie The Great:
Hello!! My name is sophie the (self proclaimed) great, and I'm a songer-singwriter from Ipswich. Music has saved my life in so many ways and continues to inspire me daily, so it’s super epic that i get to share that passion with others. I love nature, autumn, and being silly. I don’t like butternut squash, sweating, or purple, and worst of all… i hate white lighting.
Eff:
Eff is a UK based Hip-Hop/Rap artist. Eff’s music will take you on an emotional journey from existence to love. 6th Letter is a multi-genre lyricist, that speaks to the mind and the heart, whether you’re stuck in the mud, or 30,000 feet in the air. #zillygang #purpleloft
Ley Lines:
Ley Lines is a local wordsmith, who spans the genres of Hip-Hop/Rap, as well as spoken word and poetry. Almost everything she says has deep meaning and comes from the heart, mind, and soul.
Sam Milne:
Sam Milne is a 16 year old indie singer songwriter from Ipswich, playing his original songs across the county with his backing band. His music is influenced heavily by some of the greatest indie acts on the planet, stemming from Arctic Monkeys to Car Seat Headrest and an abundance more. The Ipswich indie scene grows ever stronger.
Charity: Survivor In Transition
Survivors In Transition supports all survivors of all ages, of all genders who have experienced any form of sexual violence or sexual abuse regardless of when this happened or whether it has been reported or not. We do this through a range of trauma informed, psycho-educational activities including one to one and group therapy, counselling, advocacy, research and training to become empowered and improve self esteem and resilience.
