Brighten The Corners final wave of artists just announced, including headliners Ibibio Sound Machine and shame.

Multi-venue festival Brighten The Corners returns to Ipswich this summer on Friday 14th & Saturday 15th June 2024!

Friday headliners Ibibio Sound Machine are known for their jubilant live shows and are inspired in equal measures by the golden era of West-African funk & disco and modern post-punk & electro. 

Saturday headliners shame are a bracing South London post-punk band with a passionate, political viewpoint, who have risen to fame over the past decade for their angst-driven anthems.

The full list of names announced to date includes Alexis Taylor DJ, Art School Girlfriend, Borough Council, The Brackish, Bricknasty, C Turtle, Chartreuse, CLT DRP, Coach Party, Dave Okumu & The 7 Generations, Deb Googe, deep tan, Divorce, Donna Thompson, Ebbb, En Attendant Ana, Folly Group, Free Love, Girl Ray, Grove, HONESTY, Ibibio Sound Machine, Jay Prince, JIM, Lambrini Girls, Man/Woman/Chainsaw, mary in the junkyard, Miss Tiny, mui zyu, The Mysterines, Nabihah Iqbal DJ, The Orielles, plantoid, Prima Queen, Sam Akpro, shame, SØWT,   Tapir!, TATYANA, Theon Cross, Too Many Things, Trout, Ugly, Whitelands, Yoni Mayraz. 

The multi-venue festival will take place across BTC-run venues The Baths, St Stephen's Church and The Smokehouse, plus Ipswich Corn Exchange and the outdoor free stage on the Cornhill.

Indoor venue opening times:

Friday 14th: 5pm to 2am

Saturday 15th: 2pm to 2am

This ticket is valid at all venues but does not guarantee entry due to varying capacities at venues.
