Many years ago on the 19th June Andrew was born. The next year on 19th June Graham was born. Then a few years later on the 19th June Jack was born. Some time passed, then on the 15th June Liam was born. After a few years on the 22nd June Oliver was born. Fast forward to 2019 and all these people decided to get together to celebrate our birthdays by making noises at The Smokehouse in Ipswich.

Entry is FREE but we’ll have a collection bucket on the bar to cover fuel and venue costs. Musicians put a lot into doing what they do, so everything you give will be very greatly appreciated.

MAWHRIN SKEL
A.K.A Andrew Culture. Collector of odd noises, curator of occasional beats. Custodian of occasional whimsy.

BROOCHES
Owner of best beard in Ipswich. Also well known for taking audiences on journeys of wonder and aural exploration.

ANRUFEN
A man who plays his guitar so well it sounds like a malfunctioning betamax. In a good way. For a change, for the first time (well the first time on stage) Anrufen will be accompanied by a drummer.

SUPERMERGER
Possibly one of the strangest and most engaging ways you can use at least four of your senses. If you’re wondering which four, well you’ll find out on the night.

RANSI
This is the first time Ransi have played live. But only as Ransi. Individually they have played tons of times. Including with OK Hotel and Ghost Poet. It’s brand new, so get to the Smokehouse early to make sure you don’t miss them!

GRAHAM BIRKS
Graham won’t be performing on the night. But it is also his birthday on the 19th June so we thought we would mention him. He’s actually a cartoonist, designer and photographer. Hassle him about it on the night, he’ll love that.
