Uncomfortable Beach Party Presents: Zoe's 30th Birthday Bash! Revenge Of The Psychotronic Man, 2 Sick Monkeys Chewed Up, Casual Nausea

  • The Smokehouse International House, 6 House Street Ipswich, IP1 3NU England (map)

Sooooooooo, I'm going to be turning 30 in November. Whilst mainly trying to come to terms with the fact I’m definitely a fully fledged grown up. I have decided to put on a awesome gig with some of my favourite bands, us horrible lot and hopefully all my great mates there too, to celebrate my third decade on this floating rock we call home. Hope you can make it, it’s going to be loads of fun! If you do come you don’t even have to buy me a birthday present. I will fully let you off no questions asked (as long as you pay the £5 door fee that is) It's going to be good…… right good!

Revenge of the Psychotronic Man
Manchester based, Partridge obsessed speed punks! Blisteringly fast but still find time to be catchy and shout alongable! Known for their energy packed sets and inciting ridiculously good crowd participation. Such as the now legendary Human Wheel Barrow Wall of Death, and the Human Toblerone! (SEEING IS BELIEVING!) If you haven’t seen these guys you really are missing out! Come get involved. Maybe even get on the top of a human pyramid. Because no one gets hurt in human pyramids FACT! influences include, Zeke, Kid Dynamite, Dead Kennedys, Ramones, and The Steal.

2 Sick Monkeys
If you were lucky enough to catch 2 Sick Monkeys last time they were in Ipswich you should know what to expect. This two piece will knock your socks off! Fast, Melodic catchy, punk rock! I have never seen anybody watch these guys and not leave with a massive smile on their face, usually in disbelieve that two people just made all that noise. Regardless of your musical tastes. you will fucking love 2 sick monkeys or you sir are not quite right!

Chewed Up
Crack rock steady meets 80s hardcore! Always positive, always fun! Have always gone down a storm in Ipswich. We (Casual Nausea) have just had the absolute pleasure of putting out a self released CD split with these guys. Which was then released by @tnsrecords on beautiful pink vinyl! (Available from either band and TNS.) I will never get bored of seeing Chewed Up play. I’m chuffed to bits that they are going to be part of my birthday celebrations!

Casual Nausea
We will be starting off the evening, with our usual brand of frantic punk rock. I won’t go on for too long because I’m sure most of you locals will have seen us before. It's punk rock with three vocalists and a whole bunch of different influences. Here is a video of us!

Really hope you can all come and celebrate with me! Please share around and invite every one! All of the bands (other than us) are coming a long way. So lets show them a good time! Thanx!
